Body shops these days will just order and paint a new panel if the dents can't be popped out. No one bothers with actual body work anymore. Going out of pocket will be cheaper.

I went to the same body shop my ins claims have always gone through (local Chevy dealer). Guy has always done good work. The whole rear panel and sliding door were smashed good, told him I was paying cash and would prefer to just pop, hammer, smooth and paint vs replacing whole sections of the vehicle. He said no problem his guy could do a great job, and he did.
