I have one. The trolling motor will only push it about 5mph and I would have to deal with the battery. The outboard has a self contained gas tank and only weighs 40#.

It might just be making more engine noise from loading up but really not speeding up hardly any. You'd need a tach to really tell.
I'd have buy an aluminum prop just for the sake of having the plastic for a spare. If you pick up speed, great. If not, you have a spare prop.
