They look for gators all the time, but it's Florida. Water ways connected everywhere. How do you think gators end up on golf courses, it's not by choice of the course owners.

Was there over Mardi Gras and stayed at Polynesian and watched fireworks from edge of that same area.
Scary!
Definitely should have signs warning of alligators if that was the case and those signs are not there.
It does say stay out of water but you know every kid and most adults go right up to the water to take pictures and stuff.
I wonder if they would have looked a little longer if they might have saved him being so close to shore unless he washed back up.
