you can't expect to get anything worth a crap with the 16th and 23rd pick
None of these guys have played an NBA minute, that's true, but I think we have a lot of evidence that says both Valentine and Prince project to be 20-25 MPG rotation players at least. Then at 23 there are a few 19 year old Eastern Euro 7 footers (like Jokic/Nurkic) that have a lot of potential. You never want to take a single draft report on a euro as gospel, but the profile on Draft Express makes Zizic sound pretty damn exciting. He likes to run, is physical, plays above the rim, and has good hands and touch around the basket. If you could draft a Jared Dudley level wing and a Nurkic level center in addition to Bradley why wouldn't you do that?
I know you really believe in Buddy, but what if he were off the board? Most people seem to like only 2 of our 3 guard choices, so #3 on your list is the only one left on the table, and you don't like him much. Do you still play the odds that past draft data tells you about, even though the guy left on the board is one you don't believe will become one, or do you trade back?

I don't want to trade the #6 pick unless its a star...
But Bradley/16/23 isn't a bad deal.

Bradley has 2 years left on his contract, and is going to want big money. He's already said he's very unhappy with his contract right now.
I would love to get a Jokic/Nurkic/Vucevic type player in this draft. If that's Zizic, that would be great.
Valentine/Prince, like Hield/Dunn, will take 2-3 years to be true contributors on any team.
I like the trade b/c it add's 3 assests, but 2 of those are risks. What if we get Brackins/QPon. Then this trade sucked. What if we get Nurkik/Rodney Hood. Then it would be an awesome trade.
I like trade proposals that give us more assets, like this one, as opposed to the Jrue trade, where we lost an asset.
I just want to find a superstar in the draft, which i know is a big crapshoot, but we need it. Heild and Dunn have that potential. If they are there, I want them. If they aren't, i'd be happy with this trade.
Alot of mocks have Hield and Dunn being available when we pick. If that's the case, it's be awesome if we could get Denver's pick and get Dunn as well. But i doubt a Jrue for the 7th pick is something they'd go for.
