I've just gotten through Part 4 last night.

This story is still so captivating to me.

It didn't help that I was in law school during the trial It is the most high profile criminal trial in U.S. history. It's a sociological phenomenon - here is a guy who transcended race, but because that was the only way he walks, his trial team made the case all about race - not O.J.'s race, but of race relations between black folks and the LAPD.

Very strange. And the strange characters it drew - setting aside the odd birds of the Dream Team, just having Ito, Clark, Darden, Gates, Lange, Vannater, Fuhrman, etc., plus O.J., Nicole and their circle of friends and associates. I remember thinking, "How are they going to fill 7 or 8 hours?" Now I realize they had to cut a lot of stuff.

Completely fascinating. And O.J. walking (he's guilty as hell) is simultaneously frustrating and understandable.
