How many nights per month are you in a hotel?

8-12

What is your preferred hotel chain and why?

Hilton, usually a nice Hampton everywhere I travel.

How many flights a year do you average?

3-4

What is your preferred airline and why?

Don't care, I go with the cheapest

Do you get to keep your hotel/airline points?

Yes, Sitting on 685K Hilton points right now.

How many miles per month are you driving?

Scared to look. Probably 3K.

Do you have a "territory," and if so, what is it?

LA/MS/AR

How does your company reimburse mileage?

No, but they reimburse gas + car allowance

Do you receive a car allowance, and if so, how much is it

Yes, $600 a month.

Do you receive per diem, if so how much per night?

No per diem, just have to stay within budget.

How are travel expenses paid (reimbursed from your card or company card)?

Personal card that I only use for business. I submit my expenses on a weekly basis and I am generally reimbursed the following week. I get to use this card and keep the points.

What industry are you in?

Sales

What advice would you give someone who is about to be a frequent work traveler?

Use it to your advantage when you can. Get out and explore or you will go crazy.

Gotta say I'm pretty amazed at how much some of us travel for work. (myself included) I agree with the advice to eat at local places and to get out and explore. Interesting responses.
