Anything said on ESPN is gospel, much like WAFB and Jimmy Ott. BOOK IT.

Why do people on TD continually bring up last year's Rose Bowl predictions? I know that it all should have been preferenced with "if USC wins", but does anybody really think that if USC would have won that the Rose Bowl would not have taken LSU? LSU was in that game until the upset on the last day of the season.

I don't recall ever bringing up the Rose Bowl thing myself, but to be fair WAFB reported it as fact not a prediction.

Oh and Schiano is waiting on Joe Pa to die.

Because it wasn't prefaced with the USC thing and it was being "confirmed" and "verified" that LSU had already been invited to the Rose Bowl. Fact is that the Rose Bowl would never pick an SEC team unless last year's scenario would have played out and their Pac-1 team would have been taken away, so there is no way an invite or anything resembling that would have been offered until the Rose Bowl knew they needed another team. And because Jimmy Ott is a douchebag.
