There aren't many "great" jambalaya's in Baton Rouge or even sold in stores or restaurants in general. The best is generally found sold at little benefits and festivals. However, my favorite that can be bought most days is T. Wayne's in Prarieville. Another good one is Lamendola's in Gonzales.

The Jambalaya Shoppe family of restaurants (which includes Pot & Paddle and The Jambalaya Spot in Port Allen) all tastes pretty similar. It's just ok. Out of all of those, I would probably say the Pot & Paddle on Jefferson is probably the best, but they're all basically the same.
