Dude needs to straighten his GF out NOW or his life will suck.

It's a friend of the girl you are dating. You don't take off work for that crap.

TBH, the couple does not care if you come at all. You don't matter in the least to either of them or their parents.

Your GF is being a needy biotch. Tell her to grow up, spend an evening with her girlfriends and you will be there when it is convenient. (Say it nicely though or you won't get the vacation poonanny)

My wife knows the chances of me going to a wedding that is 7 hours away that isn't a close friend or family member are close to 0.
