Jury's still out in that one. Is it possible to make a historically accurate WW1 FPS that appeals to wide audiences?

Verdun is reportedly a great game but it isn't exactly lighting the world on fire

Oh I would definitely agree that there is risk involved with Battlefield 1. But I agree with Jim that company executives have been really, really stupid lately when it comes to judging what consumers actually want.

I highly doubt it will be anything close to historical, and honestly I hope it isnt. I still hold out hope for alternate history bits and pieces in this game.

Im developing one, it takes a piece from other franchises.

You start off as a poor, artist on the side Adolf Hitler.

Has career mode. Etc. Will eventually be able to transition your save progress into WW2. (and after that, downloadable content for when you retire to South America)
