re: is TCL 55" 4K TV with ROKU built-in complete crap? Its $489 at Sams

I've bought a number of shite brand TVs, with generally good luck. One was a TCL I think, but I don't know where it is in the house. They're all shite TVs that nobody complains about, so none really stick out.

I don't have expectations that a 55 inch 500 dollar 4k TV is going to be superb, or that it'll last 10 years, but I'm sure it'll be fine. I'm certain the sound will be terrible, but you knew that.

The only TVs I've had fail are a Sammy DLP after several years, and a Vizio refurb. All my Hisense/TCL types just get relegated to another room or the patio or or something. The only problem with these larger disposable televisions is that when you want to upgrade, it's not that easy to find a new place for a 55 inch TV.
