When you're in the common areas, yeah, it's crowded and full of kids. But we were always at the parks until close and were always pretty late getting back to the hotel. I had no problems with noise once we got the room. The dining room was by far the busiest. The pool wasn't too bad but it was November and not too many people swimming.
I'd recommend it based on the theming along, as long as you have young kids. Staying there on an adults only trip might be a little weird.
