re: How many MLB pitches could you at least foul tip (out of 100 pitches)?

Knowing that every pitch will be a fastball, I'm pretty sure I'd get the timing down pretty quick. The only thing left is location. Assuming I'd probably miss the first 10 or so, I think I'd make contact with ~50% of the rest, so 40-45. If you let the pitcher mix in some off-speed, slider, curve type stuff, that number goes WAYYYY down.

This. In high school, Scruffy batted against a few pitchers who could hit 90s. If it is only fastballs, there would be some contact.
