You really get used to it. Most everyone has pools to cool off in. You learn to just stay inside during the hottest parts of the day. Also...on weekends you can easily just drive 2 hours up to northern AZ (such as Flagstaff) and be in much cooler temps(like highs of low 80s).

Thanks! Good info...I am heading to Phoenix this weekend for a job interview Monday and my inside sources say I have it locked up if I want it. Was looking into the feasibility of dual residences between Phoenix and Flagstaff. Amazing that just 2 hours separates long 120 degree summers from long 100 inches of snow winters!
