How about a pepper jelly dipping sauce? I don't recall how I did it originally, but Epicurious has a recipe that calls for 1 cup pepper jelly, 2 Tbs whole Creole mustard or other whole grain mustard, and 2 Tbs apple cider vinegar or champagne vinegar.
