i guess we disagree there. i don't think that's all that matters at all. a lot of people want to attend the game and to me i'd say that matters.


certainly getting the game in is what matters most, but it's not all that matters (imo).

I'll be there for all the games short of me being in the hospital or the funeral home.

This is a frickING REGIONAL SERIES!!

For the bandwagon fans who only go to games if the games are convenient for them, who cares? I sure don't.....

The actual reason it matters is that it can radically affect pitching. Let's say we're playing game 4 to decide the who comes out the winners bracket; Lange is dealing in the third; then weather forces a delay. Lange is burned. Our chances of winning that game take a big hit.
Now, it affects both teams, so it might work to our advantage. But when you're the one seed you don't want wild cards like weather delays.
