If they got Matt Damon (the star of the Bourne franchise) to star as the white male character of a team Bond, tickets would sell out, due to the fact he is damn good in the Bourne series, which does have this realistic edge over solo Bond movies! Team Bond would be more realistic though, since in real life usually spies work as apart of teams.

I remember when they had Bale, who was the star of Nolan's big hitting Batman trilogy, as the star of a Terminator. It made people really want to see that Terminator (4th installment, correct?), due to Bale being the star character in it.

So I know Matt Damon would cause the same effect on people, if he ever landed a future Bond role, and especially of a Bond more realistic due to teamwork.

But just my two cents.

Casino Royale grossed 600 million
Quantum of Solace grossed 586 million
Skyfall grossed 1.1 billion
Spectre grossed 890 million

I think the franchise is doing pretty well as is.
