Was at a meeting a few days ago where Rep. Scalise spoke. He basically said the people in BR are looking hard at raiding the new federal offshore royalty money which is supposed to kick in next year and is dedicated to coastal restoration.
He basically said he would tell Congress to cut the money before he allows the legislature to use it for something other than the intended purpose.

Is that the same money that JBE pledged to use only for coastal restoration just a few weeks ago?
