Lazy and slow don't plan that far out to get what they want. Planners still benefit from this system.

Doesn't so much reward them as punish those that were gaming the system (like you did [and like I used to {I was the designated FP sprinter}]).

This is true, but not as much as before. The one upside is that towards the end of the evening, you can start killing FastPasses.
