It really is hard especially living in Cajun country and having family members who are all great cooks (we share a name with a famous chef).
Rice in everything, potato, sweet tater...the list goes on.
I don't crave them anymore since we cut out all the by-products and the manufactured sugars.
I really and truly believe the government fricked with our diets several decades ago in order to establish another big govt program.
The foods they push are wrong, as a whole, for the population. But again, some diets work better for others. There should not be one universal approach.
