interesting...same shite happened to mine a year or so ago...fan works fine, but the remote will no longer work the light.
I never thought about reprogramming, though....
ETA...very sorry to hear about your dad...I've been there and it sucks.

What's strange is that not only will the remote not work the light but the wall switch won't either and I changed the bulbs earlier today
This shite drives me nuts, if I could get my hands on a manual somehow I could probably figure it out but even with the list posted in this thread it's like 200 fans and I've found no way so far to identify my particular model of fan. Gonna keep trying though
None of the other suggestions from google have worked
It really is acting like the bulbs are blown out BUT I changed them AND I find it very unlikely that 3 bulbs on 2 different fans go out at the exact same time
