My least favorite cliche' is in rom coms, when the main character has to engage in chase scene to catch his love before she leaves town, or gets on a plane or some shite.
Boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy runs to the airport really fast, trips over some shite, boy gets girl. That's like 9 out of 10 rom coms right there.
The other one I can't stand is the false death of a character. Iron Man's dead? Oh no! Hulk screams. Whoa... he's alive! Gosh, you totally fooled me, man. I really thought Iron Man was dead. Whew!
