They gave him every chance but he never improved. Granted the Titans had the worst offensive line in football but he did not help himself. The knock on him was he could not get rid of the ball quick enough.

Hate to lose him but maybe a better fit somewhere else.

No they didn't. They put a statute behind an offensive line that couldn't block anybody. Then they drafted Mariota. Not sure how they gave him every chance.

Mett is about as mobile as Peyton Manning. If you put Manning behind that OL he would have been crushed, too.

We all observed his game. not nimble in the pocket, so focused downfield, not aware of pocket issues around him.

His arm will get him a back up job.

The Titans had the worst oline in the nfl last year and they had one of the worst collection of skill position players in the nfl.

Yep. Qbs get measured by how fast the ball gets to a wr from the start of the qbs throwing motion to the reception.
Mett has always had an elongated motion but he covered it up in cfb because the windows are so much bigger in cfb.
