Got my first box today.

First one only cost $5, then it goes up to $15/month, and I got about $30 worth of fishing gear. Anybody else ever done this? So far it seems like a great deal.

I wish you could set it up to do like a mix of panfish and bass.

Which version do you have and what did you get? I've hinted at the saltwater version as a gift for a while now.

I don't have this one but, I subscribe to Cairn box. A hiker box, of sorts. One thing I noticed right away was that the first few months were great. There was always something I could use. Every month since has gradually gone down hill and I have been less satisfied. Hopefully this won't happen to you.

Can you choose what sort of gear you're interested in based on what and how you fish? Or is it just a random assortment?

Did 6 months of Tackle Grab for my Dad for Fathers Day, about 70.00. Usually 1-2 10.00 + items & a few other items. Both salt & freshwater stuff.

I got it for Christmas this year. Enjoyed it and got some interesting baits. Also got some that will do me no good. It does make a cool gift for any fisherman.
