I think Lebron when he wants to be, is every bit as good defensively(or at least in that realm) as Kawhi. But you have to base it on what actually happened, and during the season, we all know Lebron doesn't place much of an emphasis on playing all out defensively over the entire year.

I have no issue giving the overall performance nod to Lebron, but when you factor in all of the numbers and defense, I don't really have a problem giving it to Kawhi either. Meaning, it's closer than you're making it out to be IMO.

So yea, Lebron is better and more valuable and as dumb as it sounds, that doesn't automatically make him a better MVP candidate

Well ok then

Lebron- 25.3 pts/game 6.8 assist/game 7.4 R/g 27.67 per 52%

Leonard- 21.2 pts/game 2.6assist/game 6.8 r/g 26.11 per 50%


Leads every category. Leads points and assists by a sizable margin
