Jan/Michael was a train wreck that equaled great TV. Holly/Michael were two soulmates that ended up together in the end that also equaled great TV.
ETA I will also say the Michael/Jan/Holly provided some of the most uncomfortably awkward moments in TV history. I to this day have to watch the dinner party with my finger on the FF button bc there s parts that I can't handle.
Michael Scott is arguably the greatest TV character ever.

Dinner Party was the first episode I ever saw of the show. I was like "I've heard The Office is good, let me check this out." And I was dying, even not knowing much about any of the characters.
Went out the next day and bought S1-3 on DVD, caught up on the show that weekend, and never missed an episode after that. I was hooked.
