I've said this many times, but I think my expectations were wrong for this series. I was wanting more exploration and less combat, especially with the scenery.

I still remember how dumbstruck I was in the first one when I climbed up this cliff side (hear there's a lot of climbing in 4), and there was a beached German U-boat, and I want to say it was close to sunset and the sun had flared just right. Was the most beautiful thing I had seen in a video game up until that point.

While there is still a lot of combat, its not nearly the amount in the other 3.

The exploration is higher, while still linear it has a more open world feel because the areas are bigger and there are multiple ways to get where you need to go a lot of the time, so you don't feel like you are being funneled down one path constantly.

A LOT..but i don't mind the climbing for the most part and they added a rope to your arsenal this time and it makes for some fun moments.

There are TONS of these moments in this game. Quite frankly I stop a LOT and just move the camera around and take it all in.
