I think it's perfect.

Prosecutors say he was on Valium and meth when arrested. 6th DUI - this person can't be trusted in society and is too dangerous. No regard for others' safety.

Years ago My wife and I spent 5 days in a hospital after being hit by a guy on his 4th or 5th DUI and hadn't had a license for years.- of course didn't have insurance. We spent Christmas Day in the hospital bc of her internal injuries.

Think about that happening to your SO and tell me the punishment is too harsh

But 20 years flat? Pretty much every single habitual armed robbers, rapists, child molesters, manslaughters, attempted murderers, and assault with a deadly weapon guys don't get that much time. Even felons charged with those things don't get that harsh of a sentence.

Just because you had one unfortunate incident shouldn't mean logic should be thrown out the window. I'm not excusing what he did, but the punishment is absurd
