PFF thought our OL was pretty decent last year.

I think it was not terrible.
We're just used to better.

And the pass blocking was worse.

I am not saying our line were world beaters, but our WRs inability to create separation, IMO, often magnified our Oline's struggles.

I tried making a similar point all of last season..


Others had us ranked as one of the better offensive line units and many Saints fans couldn't understand it..

but often fans are not looking objectively at the bigger picture.. they just see their teams struggles and assume they are among the worst.. without truly looking around the league..

the offensive line play in the NFL this past season was extremely down.. could that be the defensive line play is just better? maybe? not sure why. but many teams struggled on the oline.. many fans fail to acknowledge this..

so even ranking the saints line, top 5 or top 10.. doesn't exactly mean they have a great line.. it can speak to where the rest of the league is. there were really some atrocious o-lines this past season.. far worse than the Saints.
