no... much easier to just buy a sim card at the airport. AT&T and their planned screwed me up. I purchased it and used it mainly for navigation and TripAdvisor to lok up places to eat/drink. Used city/hotel WiFi to look up sports, TD, FB, etc, but because that wasn't always reliable my bill came in at close to 600 bucks.
