My advise, hire s crew and drink beer while they instal it. I worked with a landscaping company a few years back and did many of installs with them. I made contacts with suppliers that are still good friends till this day. Last spring I called one and we installed mine. 10 zones. frick that noise.

1.plan it out which it seems you hsbr already done. It seems you are pumped and primed however if you wanted to wait a bit longer, you can submit a drawing and measurements of your yard to rain bird and they will plot it for you. Will include all head and pipe schedules

2. All of mine is done with 1" pvc. No tubing at all. The only time I ever used tubing or hose was to extend off the main line in beds etc.

3. Buy a name brand controller and valves Don't go cheap. They make wireless ones that will adjust with the weather. If not you have to manually cut it off if we are expecting rain

4. Good lick back filling your trenches. shite sucks

5. Check your calcs repeadly to assist 100% coverage. Hate for you to have dead spots due to non coverage

6. Run a pressure test on your water supply

7. You can instal your own backflip preventer very easily.

8. Slip joint sleeves are your friend.

All in all its not Rickey science however it's labor intensive and you are going to tear your yard up
