I know people it worked for to get off dope.
The people who died were taking like 200+ pills a day for long periods of time and went in to cardiac arrest I think. I read a story where some person kept going in to cardiac arrest while they were still awake and would get the AED shock thing done to them while still conscious multiple times, sounds pretty terrible.
The people I know started at like 20 and then tapered it down over a period of like 3 - 4 weeks.
