Holy crap.

Agreed. He's a top 15 coach in college, probably. If he'd left, we were going to get a top 5. I don't see how there's a question on this.

Top 5 coaches are just out there growing on trees?! Sheesh. Everyone thought Dennis Franchione was a top 5 coach. Fired after 5 mediocre seasons. Dinardo looked darned good for 2.7 years. Fired after two more losing seasons. Gary Gibbs was an obvious replacement for Barry Switzer; Earle Bruce; Ron Zook; John Blake; Ty Willingham; etc. All great "hires", all mediocre coaches.

No one picks a top 5 coach. You try to hire the best coach you can find, who wants your job, who is available and ripe the year that you are looking and hope that he grows into a successful coach.

Do people really believe this nonsense?

I wonder how many Les Miles haters will be going to the game or watching on T.V. Because I don't like watching or going to see teams that are UNDERACHIEVING. So if you have any issues with a team that is making it to a National Championship, its only 2 losses where in triple overtime, and played this session with some key players injured. I only have two words for you PISS OFF.
