I Just some pine 2x10s from Lowe's and I jointed the edges with a track saw, and glued them up.

Dam, that's some excellent joins. Biscuit?

Thanks. I used biscuits for vertical alignment, and of course glue and every clamp I could find in my shop. I've used pocket screws on the under side before but I figured they werent necessary and and only make the bottom look bad, even though no one sees that. But I didn't use them this time. The key to those clean joints is the jointing. I bought a makita track saw just for this purpose since it's alot cheaper than a larger stationary jointer.
