What motivation would you have to work hard and play for a guy that obviously doesn't have your back. It was totally classless and cowardly for Mainieri to call out a player in a public setting. If you want the respect of your guys, treat them with respect.
Chew his arse all you want behind closed doors, but you always have your guys back.
