Looking for a bayou/creek or scenic lake to kayak down near Alexandria/Pineville area. Any ideas?

a few come to mind...
a couple of beautiful cypress lakes would be Spring Bayou and Cocodrie lake.
Another option would be to put in at indian creek at the free landing on the back side of the lake (H Strange Rd, I think) and paddle the coves in that area...

I second the two previously mentioned places. Maybe check out Cotile Lake, Kincaid Lake, or Valentine Lake.

Bayou Des Glaises from Moreauville to Bordelonville. About 10 to 12 miles. Bring a pole, no body ever fishes it.
