I understand the nod to safety but on the last lap they aren't coming back around regardless, why not let them come back to the line?

NASCAR can't get out of their own way, it's amazing how retarded the organization is from top to bottom. Yeah, let us throw the caution flag even though it won't protect a damn thing. Congrats, instead of a first time winner you get a washed up never was winner.
