Yeah art is art. People that hate on it for not being digital or a perfect disney drop can GTFO. It is paying homage to the comic that released the story. I like the fact that Batman can have so many different animation styles.

That's not gritty and rough unless your idea of normal is the shite you find on CN or Adult Swim.
For something like this you need something more classical and detailed in order to have enough to make it suitably dark. Hell, even the detail level of something like Spectacular Spiderman or the old B:TAS styles would have been better.
