He has gotten a career by interrupting everyone, from his guests to the people he shares the screen with. That's really all he's done, and his interviews are all softball games. You're never going to have Fallon call out his guests on their bullshite, or even allow his other guests to call out another guest in the way Conan does.

To be fair Fallon's head might've burst from over-laughing if Norm delivering that Chairman of the Bored line happened on his show.
