You are either the type of person who notices the swirls of every car as it turns in the sun or you are not. Some people don't care. After spending a shite load of money and time on a hobby of keeping my car clean, I unfortunately realized (or reinforced) I notice. $50k for a new truck and having it turn shite in a few months isn't a good idea. When you go to sell, the upkeep shows.

I agree pjab. Hand washing my truck is not something I enjoy, but I do it because I thoroughly enjoy having a clean truck. I can't understand how someone can spend $30k plus on a vehicle and let it turn to sheit. Just like I hate maintenance on my house, painting, cleaning gutters, landscaping, pressure washing, but I can't stand letting my house go to shite or looking unkept.

I don't have swirls in my paint. I do have shitloads of limb scratches, to the point they almost bother me.
