That's not the point. Multi-room systems are for background music. They aren't for critical listening and speakers in the ceiling do an excellent job providing this without intruding on layout of the room.

I know you're a two channel guy and a well setup two channel system can be a thing of beauty but it isn't for every application and not every wants to place a chair in the sweet spot for critical listening.
