Been in Vegas for 12 years but I live out in the boonies and honestly, tend to avoid the Strip. Others here could give you better choices than me for that area. If you go "off the beaten path" then maybe I can suggest something. I'll throw out one place, if you happen to be downtown and in a "dive bar" mood... LINK

The LSU alumni chapter crawfish boil is this Saturday downtown.Ever been? I finally have a Saturday off and thinking of checking it out. I'm way off the strip to so never head out that way.
