This isn't that shocking. She's had a bad drug problem for years. Missed a few shows she booked wrestle mania weekend because she was fricked up.

I listened to a podcast she did with Vince Russo a couple of years back. She was very depressed at the time but was trying to move on. She still was very messed up from her WWE dismissal.
If you don't know, she was living with her then-fiancé Triple H, when he began an affair with Stephanie McMahon. After she had a meeting with Stephanie and Vince to attempt to sort the whole thing out (in which she threatened to beat the crap out of Stephanie) she was fired. She never recovered from that whole ordeal. That would mess a lot of people up.
