Wayback when bump.

Does this thread still hold true? Dog runners, no trophy bucks but plenty to fill freezer, turkeys, hogs? Have any thoughts on the whipstock hollow area?

if you bought you can get a dozer and/or mulcher for 100-200 and hr. You would be amazed what could be in 10hr day.

When i bought my property and hand cut for the 1st 2 years, since then i get some equipment 1 once a year for a project.

Its worth it

Pretty much. I'm about 6 miles from that road, although I can't say I've ever rode down it.

Dog runners

Don't have any trouble with these, and very rarely have trespassers, knock on wood

Spot on. Paw in law did get a nice 9 point last year. But those are rare. Usually the mature racks are still kinda baskety.

Also, fwiw I really like going into town when not hunting. A few decent little mom and pop spots to eat and a good grocery store. Every clerk and employee I interact with is so clean cut, polite, and friendly, much different than Louisiana. FYI They sell beer at the store, but bring your bourbon with you.
