Haha, I laughed. If you're going to Estes and not planning on going to RMNP, you're not doing it right. They also have the hotel where The Shining was filmed. I believe it's a historic landmark and you can go inside/get a pass.

I went to Estes last July. Really liked it, but not so much for what there was to do, but what there wasn't to do. Stayed in a cabin for 3 days and did nothing but relax, grill, sit in the hot tub, and drink. Great time. Downtown Estes is a cool little spot as well.
