True, nursing unions there made it law that nurses HAVE to be paid overtime anytime they work more than 8 hours. Knowing that most nurses in hospital settings work 12 hour shifts.
My husband's company has one of their corporate offices in CA and we would move in a heartbeat if the opportunity presented itself. CA is the best state to work as a nurse (pay, benefits, working conditions, etc).
