I think RC is the best of the "average" cruise lines.
Especially if you are cruising with a toddler. I take it that you are a young to middle age adult, which is prime for RC's crowd. You'll enjoy it.

But, if it is possible, RC does have better cruise ships than the ones that leave out of Texas. If you can make it to Port Canaveral or Fort Lauderdale's ports, they have bigger and newer ships. But it may not be worth for that much potential extra travel to get to the port.

Nothing about that ship will have you wanting more or bigger. In Cozumel we docked directly to the Allure and the size difference in the allure seems more vertical than anything else (three additional decks I think). The liberty is massive and gorgeous.

As far as the ship goes I'd actually put it above the Disney Fantasy.

The quantum, ovation and anthem are all newer but it isn't like the liberty is the carnival elation.
