Have you cruised before? Royal is a great line but it just depends what you are looking for in a cruise. Royal isn't the best fit for me because I feel like it is a giant floating mall but that is great sometimes. I would probably love it on a longer cruise if I ever took one beyond 7 days. Just do your research on the ship. I have been to Belize City and Cozumel. You really need to take an excursion because there is nothing to see if you don't. Cozumel is great, go to one of the all inclusive beaches. For around $75 per person you can eat and drink all you want and they have loungers on the beach plus nice pool areas. Mr. Sanchos is one and Nachi Cocom is another.

We have never been on a cruise before. Everything I read was stay away from carnival and it was the closest one from Baton Rouge that wasn't carnival. We are looking at going in Jan of 17. We would be going with another couple. We both have toddlers. Thanks again for all the information.

In Cozumel we much prefer Paradise Beach to one of the all inclusives.
