It was probably the second most fun game I've watched in the NBA this year behind Warriors-Thunder. The 4th quarter and part of the 1st quarter were awesome and it was really cool to see a legend end his career like that. I think you're blowing the individual performance a little bit out of the water. I really don't care at all Kobe took 50 shots, because it made the game way more fun, but he was atrocious for the most part on defense, the refs bailed the Lakers out plenty of times in the 4th quarter, and the worst 3 point shooter in the league should probably never take 21 three point attempts in a game. All that being said, I'm glad he did because it made the game awesome. For me, it's not going to rank up there with high quality playoff games in any sport.

What got me was when all the celebrities were astonished at what they saw. Guys like Jay Z, Kanye, Snoop, and Jack stop putting up their personas and reacted like little kids was so cool to watch. Plus the buzz of the Staples Center every time he touched the ball hasn't been seen in a long time. Truly an unforgettable night and I am so happy and stayed up and witnessed it.
