It's difficult to say that there's too big of a price to pay for a franchise QB.

I think any team would sign up for this deal if they could get a Cam Newton. We just don't think there's a franchise QB in this draft. Odds would indicate that there isn't one, but we'll just have to see.

If you recall correctly, this board did not think Cam would be a franchise qb either. Wentz had a chance to be one. Pro style qb in a good college system that is a winner. The Rams have to have a qb, so why not take this trade? They are good enough to fill other holes in the draft. I'm sure they planned this out.
